Last Saturday, I've decided to be a heroine and went to join the Body Pump class in my gym. The class is an hour long whereby participants use light free weights and barbells in repetitive exercises that focus on the biceps/triceps and stomach muscles including lunges, squats and presses. Yes, we did it. We got sucked into the whole Bonsai show during the Koi Show and my Hubs bought one :) Do you know that bonsai is an art of aesthetic miniaturisation of trees? Hooray!! Finally, after 2 months of waiting for the letter of my Dutch assessment exam, it's over! I'd my exam done today in Gouda, 20 mins train ride from where I live. I must say the assessment went well without any glitch! There were 3 assessments and each assessment exam had 3 or 4 situations and questions that I have to do. The best ice-cream in town! Or the Dutchies will call it 'ijs' literally means ice-cream. The shop "De Ijssalon" is located in the city centrum of Rotterdam along the Meent street. Yesterday my Hubs decided he will cook lunch since he is working from home. Plus he wanted to try this new recipe that was in his mind: White Asparagus Pesto Omelette, his favourite vegetable. Being blur as a squid, I didn't know that particular weekend that we were in Maastricht were no other than the Carnaval weekend! I found this event by chance and me and my Hubs decided to check it out last year. We were so glad we did. The moment we arrived at our destination, we were greeted by hundred of kites lighting up the skies at the beach of Scheveningen. It was amazing! There were thousands of spectators just like us spending the weekend, strolling along the beach to view these spectacular kites.Later in the day,

I've discovered that I love to look at kitchen tools & wares or any household 'stuff' since I got here. I've started to appreciate house decor items, pots and pans, utensils, magazines, any household ware peak my interest these days.
