I found this event by chance and me and my Hubs decided to check it out last year. We were so glad we did. The moment we arrived at our destination, we were greeted by hundred of kites lighting up the skies at the beach of Scheveningen. It was amazing! There were thousands of spectators just like us spending the weekend, strolling along the beach to view these spectacular kites.
Later in the day, the Sport Kites Championship begun with the first team from UK. You can see from the photos that the kites were in position, ready for take off to do their 'rock n roll' ;) The team song will be played together with the routine of each team. It was mind boggling to see how each team were so good in controlling and manipulating these sport kites to sync it with the other team members.
This year, we might want to catch it again ;) It is a 2-days event and it is held yearly.
